Rage Against The Machine no grabará nuevo disco por ahora

El rumor sobre que Rage Against The Machine, finalmente, haría un nuevo álbum de estudio este año, el guitarrista Tom Morello dijo a The Pulse Of Radio que la banda no está grabando un nuevo CD.

RATM tiene en su agenda para el resto de 2011 una aparición en el festival LA Rising, el próximo 30 de junio, en Los Ángeles, junto a Muse, Rise Againts, entre otros, y sobre esto habló Tom Morello en una entrevista de radio.

"En este momento no tenemos proyectado grabar ningún disco. La banda no está escribiendo canciones ni estamos en el estudio. Nos llevamos de las mil maravillas y tenemos la intención de hacer más cosas como Rage Against The Machine en el futuro, pero más allá de trabajar en un concierto este año, no hay nada más en el calendario", manifestó Morello.

Rage Against The Machine publicó su último álbum de estudio, "Renegades", en el año 2000. La banda se disolvió ese año y se volvió a reunir en 2007, sin embargo, a pesar de tocar en una serie de shows en vivo no ha grabado nada nuevo.

Rage Against The Machine: No Hay Planes De Un Nuevo Material

El guitarrista de Rage Against The Machine, Tom Morello, se pasó por la 101.1 de Florida donde le preguntaron por las declaraciones de su compañero de banda, Zack de la Rocha, que veía más posible un nuevo álbum de la banda. Morello indicó que "creo que es una cita imprecisa. No hay planes por ahora. Vamos a hacer algunos conciertos en Sudamérica. La banda se lleva genial, estamos haciendo algunos de nuestros mejores conciertos de nuestra carrera en los últimos año, y nadie descarta eso...Zack está con medio trabajo hecho de un disco de One Day As A Lion, y está de gira con eso, yo tengo un disco de Street Sweeper (Social Club) y ando trabajando en el próximo disco de The Nightwatchman. Así que no hay planes de meternos en el estudio y hacer eso pero, como banda, espero que continuemos, como mínimo, haciendo conciertos en el futuro."
